1. Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how RattleStork UG (limited liability) ("RattleStork", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies when you use rattlestork.org (the "website"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them and what options you have. Where personal data is processed, our Privacy Policy also applies.
Legal bases: Storing information on your device or accessing it is governed by § 25 TTDSG. The subsequent processing of personal data is subject to Art. 6 et seq. of the GDPR.

In addition to traditional cookies, comparable technologies (for example local storage, pixels, beacons) may also be used.
3. Why we use cookies
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- Essential: Provision of the website, security, session management. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR; § 25(2) No. 2 TTDSG.

- Marketing (where enabled): Campaign performance measurement. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; § 25(1) TTDSG).
We only use non-essential technologies if you have consented in advance. You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect.
4. How to control cookies
Use our consent manager ("Cookie settings" in the banner or footer) to enable/disable categories or withdraw your consent. Essential cookies cannot be turned off because they are strictly necessary for the requested functions.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser. This may limit functionality. "Do Not Track" signals are not consistently supported across browsers; your settings in the consent manager therefore take precedence.

6. Analytics and customization
We use Google Analytics (GA4) with IP anonymization to measure reach and improve the website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to third countries (in particular the USA). The basis are the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) with supplementary safeguards. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; § 25(1) TTDSG). You can change or withdraw consents at any time in the consent manager.

8. Other technologies
